Double Downer for Ottawa Mayor

Last week, Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson wrote a note in support of naming a building for a racist, fascist, antisemetic and anti-bilingual former Mayor. Mrs. Witton toured Canada in the 40s and 50s to root out orphaned jews from Canada. She also tried to choke the Francophone community in our nation's capital.

For this, the Mayor defended the naming of a building after her because she did some notable things, like being the first woman elected to the mayoral seat in a large city.

Hmmmmmm.... I don't see any awards for Adolph Hitler because he created record post-first war jobs. His faults outnumbered his achievements.

It is insulting for the Mayor to support a figure that is against everything Ottawa stands for today! A bilingual multicultural haven.

Today, the Mayor is naming May 11th "Anti Abortion Day".

WTF?!?!??

Was he brainwashed by Harper's Reform Party? Why are my taxes used to reverse women's reproductive rights?

Unbelievable.

My Mayor's approval ratings are sinking faster than Donald Trump's!
